<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card-shaped medium processing apparatus that can structurally simply suppress a jam of a card-shaped medium and forcibly eject a jamming card-shaped medium, if any. <P>SOLUTION: The card-shaped medium processing device 1 includes a slot 9 for the insertion of a card-shaped medium 2, a medium feeding means 3 for abutting the card-shaped medium 2 inserted through the slot 9 to feed the card-shaped medium 2, and a motor 4 for driving the medium feeding means 3. In the card-shaped medium processing device 1, a capturing maximum value that is a maximum value of output of the motor 4 in capturing the card-shaped medium 2 inserted through the slot 9 is set smaller than an ejecting maximum value that is a maximum value of output of the motor 4 in ejecting the card-shaped medium 2 toward the slot 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
