<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that facilitates processing of jam occurring in a relay carrying part. <P>SOLUTION: A relay unit 30 arranged in an intra-barrel paper ejection space 22 is provided with a lower guide 31 having a drive roller 35 and an upper guide 32 which has a driven roller 36, in which a carrying nip N and a relay carrying path 33 are formed by being arranged on the lower guide 31. In the upper guide 32, the first rail 53 is formed, and the second rail 63 supporting the first rail 53 slidably in a back and forth direction is formed in the lower guide 31. The carrying nip N is released by the sliding of the first rail 53 to a front surface side with respect to the second rail 63. When grasping a knob 41 and pulling out the upper guide 32 to the front surface side with respect to the lower guide 31, the carrying nip N is released and the relay carrying path 33 is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
