<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas supply management system for a storage tank with a data identification device, and to provide a method of management therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The gas supply management system 100 for the storage tank includes a control device 1, a data identification sending device 2, and a gas supply device 3, and performs gas supply management of the storage tank 5 having a data identification tag 6. The control device 1 includes a processing unit 11, and a memory unit 12. The processing unit 11 is connected to the data identification sending device 2 and a weight measuring unit 4. The information data of the storage tank 5 is read from the data identification tag 6 by the data identification sending device 2, and analyzed by the control device 1. Then, a gas supply condition is set, and gas is supplied to the storage tank 5 by the gas supply device 3. After the gas is supplied, a gas storage amount of the storage tank 5 is detected, and the data identification tag 6 is updated.
