PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for constructing a multi-level classification model. SOLUTION: The method for constructing a multi-level classification model includes steps of inputting a data sample with a label; generating a first multi-level classification model by use of the data sample with the label; and optimizing the generated first multi-level classification model. In the optimization step, the first multi-level classification model is regulated based on distances of comprehensive level values among all levels. The optimization step further includes a step of regulating the first multi-level classification model based on an order relation between data samples with labels. This method is extended to a semi-supervised scenario, and data samples with and without labels are referred to, whereby the first multi-level classification model is smoothed based on the similarity between the data samples and the similarity between the levels.
