<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress recording tape deformation due to winding and tightening. <P>SOLUTION: A reel 30 includes: a resin hub 32 that has a cylindrical portion 34 where the recording tape T is wound on the outer peripheral surface, an extending portion 36 that extends from the inner peripheral edge of the lower end portion of the cylindrical portion 34 toward the radially inner side, and an abutting portion 36E provided at the extending portion 36; an upper flange 38 that extends integrally from the outer peripheral edge of the upper end portion of the cylindrical portion 34 toward the radially outer side; a resin lower flange 40 provided at the radially outer side of the outer peripheral edge of the lower end portion of the cylindrical portion 34 so as to oppose the upper flange 38; and a floor wall 42 that is provided integrally at the radially inner side of the lower flange 40 and has a position restricting portion 54 that restricts the radial position of the abutting portion 36E from the radial inner side.
