ROTATION-STOP STRUCTURE OF TWO-PIECE OIL RING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation-stop structure of a two-piece oil ring, reducing aggressiveness and preventing an oil scraping function from reducing of an oil ring at a cylinder inner wall face, inhibiting increase of a manufacturing cost and excelling in ease of installation work. SOLUTION: The rotation-stop structure prevents the two-piece oil ring arranged in an oil ring groove of a piston from rotating relatively to the circumferential direction in the oil ring groove. The rotation-stop structure uses a structure for preventing the two-piece oil ring from rotating in the circumferential direction in the oil ring groove by providing a coil expander locking means on a piston side, which can lock a coil expander to the piston in a state that the two-piece oil ring is arranged in the oil ring groove.
