METHOD FOR ASSIGNING RESOURCE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A resource allocation method in a mobile communication system is provided to reallocate resources to other base stations without allocating the resource to a base station which does not use a handover gateway to prevent a waste of resources. CONSTITUTION: A serving BS(Base Station) performs initialization(S1501). An HG(Handover Gateway) divides relay section resources by time or frequency and allocates a fixed number of sub channels(S1503). The HG defines the ratio of resources actually used in the allocated resource of a relay section(S1505). If predetermined conditions satisfy, the HG performs adaptive bandwidth reallocation(S1507).
