<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is further improved in safety, at abnormal heat generation. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided with electrodes, consisting of a positive electrode and a negative electrode containing an active material, and a separator between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode has a structure which contains a binder and is formed on the current collector and in which the current collector is composed of a resin layer that melts at the time of abnormal heat generation and a metal layer as a conductor that is formed on the both sides of the resin layer. The resin layer has a melting point of 120-250°C, and the binder has a melting point between 70°C and a temperature which is 40°C lower than the melting point of the resin layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
