<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component for an artificial joint capable of inhibiting a wound from enlargement and reducing a burden of a patient and an operator while reducing a risk of occurring infection when executing operation on a fractured bone of a patient who previously had artificial joint replacement. <P>SOLUTION: When executing the operation on the bone 100 fractured, a connection part 11 is connected to the other component 101 which already mounted on the joint side in the bone 100 as the component of the artificial joint by the previously-initiated artificial joint replacement. A stem part 12 is inserted to a medullary cavity part 100a opposite to the joint side across the broken bone part 100b. Furthermore, the connection part 11 is fixed and connected to the other component 101 at the end opposite to the joint side in the other component 101, and the stem part 12 is formed integrally with the connection part 11 at opposite side fixed to the other component 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
