PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner superior in low-temperature fixability and anti-contamination properties. SOLUTION: The toner includes a release agent (A), a binder resin (B) and a colorant (C), wherein the release agent (A) has a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of 3-15 cSt, a 5 wt.% weight reduction temperature of ≥280°C and a melting point of 45-80°C. The toner has a loss modulus G" at 105°C of 1×10<SP>2</SP>-1×10<SP>5</SP>Pa s. Preferably, the release agent (A) is at least one release agent (A1) selected from the group consisting of a 36-60C ester based release agent, a 36-64C ether based release agent, a 32-60C ketone based release agent, a 28-60C carboxyl based release agent and a 32-60C alcohol based release agent.
