PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fixing feed rollers by which the feed rollers are fixed stably in a rolling mill which includes the feed rollers which are fixed in a mill housing by driving cotters. SOLUTION: The maximum quantity of deformation of a chock hole 15, by which the rotation of a bearing 16 is not hindered is calculated, the maximum value (optimum driving quantity) of the driving quantity of the cotter, which is not larger than the calculated maximum quantity is calculated and the cotters 18 are driven so as to be the calculated optimum driving quantity.
