PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric excellent in wiping performance, to provide a production method for the nonwoven fabric, and to provide wiping materials. SOLUTION: There is provided a nonwoven fabric containing fiber assemblies, which nonwoven fabric has first interlaced parts and second interlaced parts, wherein the second interlaced parts have a regular pattern formed by the water stream interlacing of the constituent fibers at the predetermined parts of the nonwoven fabric, the first interlaced parts and the second interlaced parts are present as mutually separated plural lines and at least the first or second interlaced parts meander along one direction of the nonwoven fabric with spaces equal to or wider than 2 mm width.
