摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silver particulates which have high sphericity, have sizes from submicrons to microns, are fine and have a uniform particle size, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The production method includes: preparing an aqueous solution of a silver nitrate mixture by adding an aqueous solution of gelatin to an aqueous solution of silver nitrate, uniformly mixing them, and subsequently adding ammonia water into the mixed aqueous solution; and mixing the aqueous solution of the silver nitrate mixture with a water-soluble reducing liquid to produce the silver particulates having an average particle size of 0.2-2.5μm and an average sphericity of 99.0% or more. The silver particulates are produced by the method. The method preferably includes: adding gelatin in amount of 10<SP>-10</SP>to 10<SP>-2</SP>by a weight ratio with respect to silver in a silver concentration of 20-100 g/L; and making the aqueous solution of the silver nitrate mixture and the reducing liquid spout from nozzles and collide in the air to mix them.
