The invention relates to a fuel cell arrangement (1) comprising a fuel cell stack (3) that lies adjacent to a gas distributer (4) in a vertical direction. A longitudinal sealing element (6) is provided between the fuel cell stack (3) and the gas distributer (4) for sealing between the fuel cell stack (3) and the gas distributer (4) in a longitudinal direction. The fuel cell arrangement is characterized in that the longitudinal sealing element (6) forms a protrusion (8) along at least part of the length of the longitudinal sealing element (6), said protrusion overlapping the fuel cell stack (3) in the transverse direction, and a spring element (11) lies on the fuel cell stack (3), said spring element permanently pressing an additional sealing element (10) in a direction from the fuel cell stack (3) to the gas distributer (4) against the protrusion (8) as well as onto the neighboring fuel cell stack (3) which adjoins the protrusion (8) in the vertical direction.
