A method and a device for notifying account information oriented to data-type terminal are provided. The method includes: whether each user meets a preset condition is judged; if the preset condition is met, a data packet network gateway is enabled to activate an account-information-notification control message for the user, and said message includes network address of a web notification server. With the invention, a terminal user can be aware of his account information in time, so as to adjust the way of using wireless wideband data service according to the account information, for example, a bill with large account can be avoided by reducing operating frequency or going out of use in a period, or, an interruption of important session caused by arrears can be avoided by replenishing, and so on. By improving user experience of wireless wideband data service, the operator and service provider can decrease events that will cause user dissatisfaction, so as to avoid customer churn in the field of wireless wideband data service. The method of the present invention is compatible with user device of other types during implementation of the new function. |
