SCREW-LOCKING ANTI-THEFT DEVICE

The anti-theft lock screw consists of three parts: a hollow tubular base (figure 1: A); a lock (figure 1: B); and a key (figure 1: C). The tubular base includes a peripheral wall (figure 1: D) having an upper end (figure 1: E), a lower end (figure 1: F), an internal surface (figure 1: G), and an external surface (figure 1: H). A collar (figure 2: I) extends a pre-determined distance from the lower end (figure 1: F) of the base perpendicularly to the peripheral wall, thereby creating an opening (figure 2: J) which receives a grooved body or portion (figure 5: S) of a screw (figure 5: R). An opening (figure 1: K) is provided in the upper end of the base in order to allow the insertion of the head of a screw (figure 5: Q), a nut (figure 5: U), and/or a ratchet through the opening in the base. Grooves are provided on the internal surface of the base and on the key (figure 1: L). The lock can be screwed into the upper end of the base using the key which is coupled to the lock and allows the lock to be screwed into the base such that the lock remains below the surface of the upper end of the base.
