<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste composition for forming a film-shaped aluminium electrode having a satisfactory appearance by preventing a deformation such as a substrate warp, and also to provide its manufacturing method, and a solar cell including a rear surface electrode formed in use of such paste composition. <P>SOLUTION: The paste composition for forming the rear surface electrode of a solar cell 10 includes a compound powder comprising a grain compound body of an organic or inorganic compound including aluminium powders, glass powders, and silicon as solid content and metal oxide.
