PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely reflect user's intention on an image displayed at specific display timing. SOLUTION: When an image which a user is made to select as a start image to be displayed at a start timing immediately after power-on of a digital camera is one of continuously shot images photographed in a continuous shooting mode (SA3:YES), continuously shot images (relevant images) other than the selected image among the continuously shot images are set as start images to be displayed before and after the selected image (SA5 to SA9).
