PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency and accuracy in the diagnosis by making an area invisible from the line of sight in one direction observable.

SOLUTION: A forward VE image generating part 15 generates a forward VE image of the inside of a luminal organ projected from one line of sight by three-dimensionally processing three-dimensional image data collected by an X-ray CT apparatus 20 by means of a fluoroscopic projection method. A reverse VE image generating part 17 generates a reverse VE image of the inner lumen of the large intestine projected from the reverse line of sight opposite from the line of sight of the forward VE image by three-dimensionally processing the three-dimensional image data by means of the fluoroscopic projection method. A forward/reverse composite VE image display part 18 displays the forward VE image and the reverse VE image respectively in a display part 11.
