PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation technique which makes it easy for a user to grasp an access point, to which the user should access for traveling along a recommended route. SOLUTION: A navigation system includes a storage means which stores lane information, including the advisability of access to a lane (hereinafter, to be referred to as "conditional lane") made passable by prescribed conditions being satisfied, with regard to each prescribed section of a road; a route search means which searches for the recommendable route to the destination; and a lane guidance means which provides guidance on entering and leaving, in the section of the road enabling access to the conditional lane. The lane guidance means provides entry guidance in the section, enabling entry when the section enabling leaving from the conditional lane and the section enabling entry into the conditional lane located on this side of the section, enabling when existing on the recommended road.
