<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal aligner giving a liquid crystal alignment layer which has excellent afterimage characteristics, and with which light transmittance in a dark state in the absence of electric field application is reduced, in a lateral electric field mode liquid crystal display element. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal aligner contains one kind of polymer, selected from a group of a polyamic acid and a polyimide, and having at least two diamine compounds with respectively predetermined structures as a diamine component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
