<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that formerly, a failure similar to the past failure cannot be avoided in advance in reference to a situation of the past failure. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission device includes: an operation-system circuit part performing main transmission processing; a spare-system circuit part having the same function as the operation-system circuit part; a failure detection part detecting occurrence of failure; a spare changeover part changing over the operation-system circuit to the spare-system circuit; a communication part; and a control part transmitting a failure alarm to a monitoring server device when detecting the failure and controlling operation of each part of the transmission device. The monitoring server device includes: a database holding use component information, environmental information, and statistical information of the failure having occurred in the transmission device in the past; a communication part; a retrieval part searching another transmission device using the same component under similar environment when the communication part receives the failure alarm from the transmission device; an analysis part analyzing a retrieval result of the retrieval part; and a prediction part predicting possibility of the failure according to an analysis result of the analysis part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
