PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that it is difficult for a user to recognize the validity of filtering processing using a de-blocking filter.

SOLUTION: In a display device 100 for displaying a decoding image in which block distortion is decreased by a de-blocking filter 505, the display device includes an area specifying part 506 for specifying an area which is an area on the decoding image composed of a plurality of blocks, and maximum in a reduction rate of block distortion by the de-blocking filter and a back end 40 for highlighting the area specified by the specifying means in a display module 4.
