<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that it is necessary to maintain Internet connection between a Web browser and a Web application until the completion of processing for the Web application in which the execution of processing is time-consuming, and that although the connection is maintained according as the Web browser makes an inquiry about the executing situations of the processing to the Web application server in each fixed period in a conventional manner, the Web browser cannot execute any other different Web application until the processing in the Web application server is completed in this case. <P>SOLUTION: In a Web application server for providing conversion processing from document data into print data, the conversion processing itself is provided as a software process which is asynchronous with the Web application, and only the acceptance of the execution request of the conversion processing is performed by the Web application. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
