<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide safety and saving of process-gas in a method and an apparatus for controlling the process-gas for heat-treating a workpiece of a metallic material, in an industrial furnace in which protecting gas is reused without being purged. <P>SOLUTION: The method and the apparatus are used in the industrial furnace 1 having a combustion part 4 provided with a treating chamber 2 and a combustion valve 4.1 and a controlling device 5 provided with a pressure-meter 5.1. The method comprises: the first step, in which the combustion valve is opened, a fixed quantity of process-gas 6 is supplied into the industrial furnace while control is performed and the process gas is combusted; the second step, in which the combustion valve is closed, the industrial furnace is controlled to the pre-set in-furnace pressure, the pressure is successively measured with the pressure-meter; and the third step, in which when the pressure reaches a standard pressure of the industrial furnace, the standard pressure is measured with the pressure-meter and maintained, and the combustion valve is kept closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
