PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner that easily adjusts displacement of an optical path in a direction perpendicular to the beam deflection direction, and reliably detects a light beam at a sensor part. SOLUTION: The optical scanner includes a light beam emission means which emits a light beam, a polygon mirror 33 which deflects the light beam in a plane, and the sensor part 38 which detects the light beam. The optical scanner further includes a sensor part location adjustment means 39 for adjusting the location of the sensor part in a direction perpendicular to the beam deflection direction.
