PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a liquid from permeating from the gap between liquid ejection heads while preventing contact marks of a cap member from generating on a discharge surface. SOLUTION: Four inkjet heads are fixed to a frame-like frame 4. A sealing plate 50 seals the gap between the frame 4 and the head 2 while sealing the gap between heads 2. The discharge surface 2a of inkjet head is exposed from the opening 51b of an annular frame 51 formed on the sealing plate 50. When the cap member 76 caps the discharge surface 2a, the discharge surface 2a is held in a recess 77 while sticking the internal surface 78a of the recess 77 on the cap member 76 to the outer wall surface 51a of the annular frame 51.
