PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray for steam cooking, which can be used while being set to a general purpose pot and which can be easily carried while a pot lid is placed thereon, and also to provide a steam cooking pot equipped with the tray for steam cooking. SOLUTION: To the peripheral edge of the top opening of a tray body 2 having steam jetting holes 2 in the peripheral wall, a flange 4 that can be placed on or locked to the top opening edge of a pot 1 is provided. By placing the flange 4 on the top opening edge of the pot 1, the tray body 2 is configured to be housed and arranged in the pot 1 so as to be freely taken out. Handles 5 are projectingly provided at the flange 4, on the inner position from the handles 5 of the flange 4, a stepped part 7 for placing a pot lid is arranged, which can place the periphery of the pot lid 6 in a positioned state.
