PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feedforward controller and a feedforward control method, wherein handling of change amount calculation is facilitated without causing complication of a configuration of a control circuit. SOLUTION: This feedforward controller 50A includes a feedforward control part 21A determining an amount of a preceding element with a certain process amount as an index. The feedforward control part 21A includes: a sampling delay device 51a having a storage part inputting a present process amount and sequentially storing it in each sampling period, and outputting a past process amount stored in the storage part at time when a prescribed time lapses after input time; and a subtractor 24 calculating a change amount of the process amount changed in the prescribed time from the present process amount input to the sampling delay device 51a and the past process amount stored in the storage part.
