A lens for LED street lamp installed directly in front of the LED light source (6) is provided. The lens' inner lateral surface, which is close to the LED light source (6), is an internally recessed horizontal cylindrical surface (1). The lens' outer lateral surface, which is distant from the LED light source (6), is a longitudinal cylindrical surface (2). At the middle position of the longitudinal cylindrical surface (2), two internally recessed oblique cylindrical surfaces (3) are provided respectively at two sides of the longitudinal cylindrical surface (2). Both sides of the horizontal cylindrical surface (1) are processed to form mounting planes (4) for jointing and positioning. Both ends of the lens are provided with internally recessed arc, triangular, square or trapezoidal clamping grooves (5) for installation and fixation. The light emitted from the LED light source (6) is expanded in two directions perpendicular to each other through the horizontal cylindrical surface (1) and the longitudinal cylindrical surface (2). Due to the existence of the oblique cylindrical surfaces (3) located at the middle position, the lens can reduce luminous flux of the middle position, and finally form uniform dumbbell-shaped light spot, so that the light passing through the lens can be distributed more uniformly and the length to width ratio of the light spot can be increased, thus meeting the requirements of street lamp in use. |
