PURPOSE: A solar cell and a method for fabricating the same are provided to simplify a manufacturing process by removing a patterning process in forming an electrode. CONSTITUTION: In a solar cell and a method for fabricating the same, a groove is formed within a substrate(S100). An ohmic layer and a diffusion stopper are formed on the substrate in which groove is formed(S110). A conductive layer is formed on the diffusion stopper so that the groove is filed by the conducive layer(S120). A conductive pattern is formed by etching the conductive layer(S130).
