<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive device which can reduce power consumption during driving and increasing the service life of the device by reducing the number of friction points of a lens holder. <P>SOLUTION: The lens drive device 1A includes: a lens holder 4 including a through-hole 4a which can hold a lens; a shaft 11 supporting the lens holder 4 movable in an optical axis direction of the lens and rotatable about an axis; a piezoelectric actuator 21 applying drive force to the lens holder 4 so that the lens holder 4 is moved in the optical axis direction; and a biasing member 18 applying biasing force so that the lens holder 4 is rotated toward the side of the piezoelectric actuator 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
