<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine, which controlls a mix rate of fuel in engine oil to a defined control value or less even if late post-injection injecting fuel into the cylinder of the internal combustion engine at timing not contributing to combustion is performed during a forced regeneration of a filter. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device includes a control means for performing the forced regeneration of the filter by injecting the fuel to the combustion chamber of the engine at timing not contributing to the combustion when fine particles trapped with the filter reach a predetermined amount or more. The control means includes a fuel mixed amount calculation means calculating the amount of fuel mixed into the engine oil during the forced regeneration of the filter, and a fuel evaporation calculation means calculating the evaporation of the fuel from the engine oil.
