<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel driving method in which source line inverting drive or dot inverting drive is performed in a case in which a plurality of source lines are driven by one D/A converter circuit in a source signal line driving circuit of an active matrix image display device that corresponds to digital video signal input. <P>SOLUTION: In a first driving method, two systems of gradation power source lines are supplied to the source signal line driving circuit in order to obtain output having differing polarities from D/A converter circuits, each D/A converter circuit having a switch for switching the connection to the two systems of gradation power source lines. The gradation power source lines connected to each of the D/A converter circuits are switched by a control signal input in the switch so that source line inverting drive or dot inverting drive is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
