<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery with little resistance of a cathode/electrolyte interface and having proper conductivity and charging characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A nonaqueous secondary battery contains in its nonaqueous electrolyte 0.05 mass% or more of a nitrile group content compound with respect to the total mass of the electrolyte, and an average particle size of a cathode active material is 4.5-15.5 μm with a specific surface area of 0.13-0.80 m<SP>2</SP>/g, and a cathode mixture layer contains 0.003-5 mass% of silane coupling agent or at least one kind of coupling agents as described in (I) to the cathode active material, where M is one kind selected from among Al, Ti and Zr, and R1 and R2 are an alkyl group or an alkoxy group with 1-18 carbon atoms, and n denotes an integer of 1-4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
