<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application container capable of stably and surely realizing functions of keeping the inside of a container body sealed during real application operation even if a cap is opened and also supplying an application liquid only after the application operation starts. <P>SOLUTION: An inner plug member 3 is engaged with the mouth 21 of the container body 2, and an opening 311 is closed by a valve element 41 urged to close from a valve spring 42. A movable piece 55 is split by a thorough groove 521 extending along a full circumference from the upper surface wall 52 of an application member 5 engaged with the inner plug member, and in addition the movable piece is supported to be vertically displaceable by parallel movement by bellows-like supporting pieces 522 and 522. Reaction force working with the application operation onto a surface K for receiving the application is transmitted through brushes 51, 51, ..., resulting in displacement of the movable piece 55 to push the valve element 41 to open.
