PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor post and a floor support structure adaptable to various types of sleepers with different cross sections with one type of floor post and firmly preventing a sleeper from moving relative to the floor post in all horizontal directions. SOLUTION: A strut insertion hole 24 is vertically formed in the sleeper 2 to be opened to the lower surface thereof. The floor post 1 includes a strut 7 rising vertically and a sleeper support member 25 supported by the strut 7 and receiving a vertically downward load acting from sleeper 2 thereon.
