PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a category layout transmission device and method for exhibiting an easily usable category layout for a user to move easily to service, to the user requesting the category layout of a user dedicated page. SOLUTION: The category layout transmission device 10 prepares a plurality of interest and idea clusters from a user information DB 31, and prepares a plurality of category layout clusters for each of the prepared interest and idea clusters. Then, the category layout transmission device 10 calculates a representative category layout for each of the prepared category layout clusters, calculates representative interest and idea information of interest and idea information associated with the category layout, and asociates the representative interest-and-idea information with the representative category layout and stores them in the layout DB 32. The category layout transmission device 10 receives layout request information including the interest and idea information from a user terminal 60, obtains the representative category layout from a prepared layout DB 32, and transmits it to the user terminal 60.
