PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for exterminating mosquitoes or mosquito larvae, safe to humans, by employing naturally-occurring ingredients for exterminating mosquitoes or mosquito larvae as main effective ingredients, without employing materials suspicious to affect human bodies or biological environment. SOLUTION: This composition for exterminating mosquitoes or mosquito larvae includes an effective amount of extract of family Oxalidaceae plants as the principal ingredient. Here, the mosquitoes or mosquito larvae are selected from any species or genera of mosquitoes among genus Anopheles, Culex tritaeniorhynchus, genus Aedes and genus Tripteroides.
