The invention relates to an orthodontic device comprising an orthodontic arch or wire and a set of brackets which has conduits in which said orthodontic arch passes, characterized by either of the following: one surface of the conduit of at least one bracket has a superficial texture with protruding and hollow areas to diminish the surface contact between the bracket and the orthodontic arch, which is intended to make contact with the wire, or the area of the wire in contact with at least one bracket. The surface of the wire or bracket intended to make contact with the textured surface is smooth.
