<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzer allowing the prevention of intra-analyzer contamination and the reduction of waste matter. <P>SOLUTION: This analyzer is for analyzing a specimen on the basis of the optical characteristics of an aggregate 54 of reactants, the reactants of a measuring object contained in the specimen and magnetic particles contained in the specimen. As to a magnetic collection rod 28a for collecting the aggregate 54 by means of a magnetic field from a reaction vessel, a permanent magnet 28i therewithin is moved to a position adjacent to a plane 28m which is a magnetic collection surface of the aggregate 54 in an outer tube 28g of the collection rod 28a or a position from which the magnetic field of the permanent magnet 28i does not reach the plane 28m, allowing a magnetic field to be generated in the reaction vessel or the generation of the magnetic field to be stopped. Therefore, reactants can be appropriately removed from the collection rod 28a by stopping the generation of the magnetic field caused by the collection rod 28a even without mounting thereon any protective cap, allowing the prevention of intra-analyzer contamination and the reduction of waste matter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
