DC CONVERTER CIRCUIT AND POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC converter circuit with high reliability.

SOLUTION: The DC converter circuit includes: an inductor configured to generate electromotive force in accordance with a change in current flowing therein; a transistor including gate, source, and drain, which is configured to be turned on/off to control generation of an electromotive force in the inductor; a rectifier that is made conductive when the transistor is off; and a control circuit to control on/off of the transistor. The transistor includes an oxide semiconductor layer having a hydrogen concentration that is equal to or less than 5×1019atoms/cm3as a channel formation layer.
