FUNCTIONAL BLOCK, FUNCTIONAL DEVICE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE FUNCTIONAL BLOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional block that can perform wiring with the circuit surface of the functional block being upright with respect to a mounting board without using bonding wires, to provide a functional device using the functional block, and to provide a method of manufacturing the functional block.

SOLUTION: The functional block 10 arranges a functional element F and a first circuit 2 which is electrically connected to the functional element F on one surface 1a of a board 1. In the functional block 10, a protrusion 3 including a conductor 6 arranged on the one surface 1a is provided. The protrusion 3 is covered with a resin layer 4 having a first opening 11 and a second opening 12. The conductor 6 and the first circuit 11 are connected with each other electrically through the first opening 11.
