PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electromagnetic wave reflection member where a left-handed circularly polarized light selective reflection layer having excellent reflectivity can be provided directly on a right-handed circularly polarized light selective reflection layer. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the electromagnetic wave reflection member includes processes for: forming a right-handed coating film by applying a right-turning coating liquid on a transparent substrate, and forming the substantially fully-cured right circularly polarized light selective reflection layer by energy irradiation to the right-handed coating film; and forming a left-handed coating film by applying a left-turning liquid coating liquid on the right circularly polarized light selective reflection layer, and forming the left circularly polarized light selective reflection layer by energy irradiation to the left-handed coating film.
