PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snap-fit sensor structure capable of removing a touch-out risk, when a sensor body has a domain in contact with the outer surface of a thermoplastic material (namely, a touch-out domain), and suppressing, to the minimum, the manpower required for manufacturing the sensor structure. SOLUTION: A two-piece sensor structure 40 has a constitution including a sensor body insert 20 having a thermoplastic sensor body molding 21 that can be snap-fit into a thermoplastic sensor housing 30 using a spherical-type snap-fit, so as to prevent formation of leak paths or leak openings that may damage the sensor body. The sensor body insert 20 may include the thermoplastic sensor body molding 21 for covering at least a part of the sensor body, including a part of a sensing device 18, a wire 16, a crimping spot 14 and a sensor terminal 12.
