摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten a Q-value of a cantilever whose portion on the free end side is dipped into liquid. SOLUTION: This biosensor includes: a cantilever 21 whose portion on the free end side is dipped into the liquid 9; a driving part for exciting the cantilever 21 so that the cantilever 21 is resonated in the n-order vibration mode (n is an integer of 2 or more), while supporting a fixed end of the cantilever 21 on a support part; and a frequency detection part for acquiring a resonance frequency of the cantilever 21. When measuring by the biosensor, one node A1 of the cantilever 21 vibrating in the n-order vibration mode is arranged on the liquid surface 91 of the liquid 9. Hereby, generation of a wave resistance on the liquid surface 91 is suppressed, and decline of the Q-value of the cantilever 21 whose portion on the free end side is dipped into the liquid 9, caused by dipping of the cantilever into the liquid can be reduced.
