PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting an attitudes of a nozzle without being influenced by personal skill levels and capable of adjusting the attitude of the nozzle accurately; and to provide an application device. SOLUTION: The method for adjusting the attitude of the nozzle 81 tilting toward a mounting surface 841 includes: a conduction step of contacting a pair of conductive sections 862, 863, which are arranged on the mounting surface 841 and are insulated each other, to the different sections of the nozzle 81 for conducting the nozzle 81 to the conductive sections 862, 863; and a detection step of electrically detecting the gaps between the conductive sections 862, 863 and the nozzle 81 with the nozzle 81 moved away from the mounting surface 841 to interrupt the conduction of the conductive sections 862, 863 and simultaneously with the nozzle 81 keeping the attitude toward the mounting surface 841.
