PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight rubber composition exhibiting a good balance of processability and high impact resilience. SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains a diene rubber and cellulose having less than 50% crystallization degree. Preferably, the rubber composition contains cellulose having less than 50% crystallization degree in an amount of 5 to 80 pts.mass with respect to 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber.
