<p>A device and a method for applying a coating agent by a coater to an object to be coated, the application of the coating agent being performed within a coating chamber provided with a top plate, a bottom plate, and side plates. An air suction opening and a discharge opening are formed in the upper part and lower part, respectively, of the coating chamber. At least the ejection hole of the coater is exposed to the inside of the coating chamber in the upper part thereof. A unit on which an object to be coated is placed is installed so as to be exposed to the inside of the coating chamber from the bottom plate side. Either the coater and/or the unit on which the object to be coated is placed is configured so as to be able to move rectilinearly. Either the coater and/or the unit on which the object to be coated is placed is moved by a drive mechanism, which is provided outside the coating chamber, to position the coater relative to the object, and the object is coated with the coating agent by the coater.</p> |
