PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a bottom chassis of a liquid crystal display device is provided to secure the quality of the assembility by providing optimum values of factors which affects on a tapping torque. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating a bottom chassis of a liquid crystal display device comprises steps of: forming a bottom chassis(300) using an iron plate with 0.5~0.9mm thickness; and forming a burring part which connects a bolt through a tapping process and a burring process. The iron plate comprises an inner layer composed of 0.001~0.1 weight % carbon, 0.002~0.05 weight % silicon, 0.28~2.0 weight % Mn, and inevitable impurities and a polymer chromium free pollution prevention layer.
